PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

PUNOXA 69EW is a selective post-emergence herbicide formulated as an oil-in-water emulsion. It contains fenoxaprop-P-ethyl 69 g/L for control of annual grasses in wheat, with fenchlorazole-ethyl 30 g/L as a crop safener.

MODE OF ACTION

Fenoxaprop-P-ethyl belongs to the aryloxyphenoxypropionate (FOP) chemical group and is classified in HRAC Group 1 (formerly Group A). It inhibits acetyl-CoA carboxylase (ACCase), disrupting fatty-acid synthesis needed for normal membrane formation and growth in susceptible grass weeds. It is absorbed through leaves and stems and moves systemically within the plant.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

Confirm the applicable product label, weed growth stage and access restrictions.

1. Half-fill the spray tank with water.
2. Add the recommended quantity of PUNOXA 69EW and stir.
3. Add the remaining water while continuing to stir.
4. Apply immediately after preparation.

APPLICATION GUIDELINES

1. Apply once per season when weeds are at the 2–3 leaf stage.
2. Calibrate equipment to apply 200 L of water per hectare at the stated field dose.
3. Alternate with suitable herbicides that have different modes of action, and use good weed-management practices.
4. Obtain advice before mixing with other herbicides, fertilizers or adjuvants.
