- BETAKLIN 480SL is a selective, early post‑emergence herbicide used to control:
- Broadleaf weeds
- Nut grass (Cyperus rotundus) in beans and potatoes.
- MODE OF ACTION
- The active ingredient is taken up mainly through the green parts of the plants. The leaves and the stems must therefore be adequately wetted with the spray solution. Warmth and good growing weather accelerates the action of the product. BETAKLIN 480SL is sprayed early post emergence, ie when the weeds have already emerged. After treatment no rain should fall for 3 hours, so that the active ingredient can penetrate the weeds.
- BETAKLIN 480SL has no biologically active vapor pressure and so constitutes no risk to neighboring crops in this way.
- PREPARATION OF SPRAY MIXTURE: Fill the spray tank with water halfway. Add the recommended amount of BETAKLIN 480SL Stir/agitate to ensure an even mixture.

- APPLICATION Timing: Treat early post emergence at 2-4 leaf stage. The weeds are then at their most sensitive stage. Not later than 6 leaf stage of weeds. Spray when the weeds are grown and the crop is at a height of 10-15 centimeters. Before spraying large scale spray small portions to test crop tolerance.
- RE-ENTRY INTERVAL: Generally, it is safe to enter treated areas after 4 hours or when the spray mist has dried.
- PRE-HARVEST PERIOD: 14 days
