• It is absorbed through both the foliage and roots of susceptible weeds, providing reliable post-emergence control while promoting healthy rice growth and improved yields.

• MODE OF ACTION

• PIRATA 100SC is a selective systemic herbicide that is absorbed through the leaves and roots of actively growing weeds. Once absorbed, it is translocated throughout the weed, disrupting normal growth and leading to effective weed control.

• TARGET CROPS, WEEDS & APPLICATION RATES

• APPLICATION TIMING
• Apply PIRATA 100SC according to the rice production system.

• Rice Nursery
• Apply 10–12 days after sowing.

• Transplanted Rice
• Apply 10–14 days after transplanting, when most weeds have emerged and are at the 3–4 leaf stage, depending on soil and climatic conditions.

• Direct-Seeded Rice
• Apply 15–25 days after sowing for optimum weed control.

• Following Pre-Emergence Herbicide Application
• Apply where weeds have germinated 14 days or more after the pre-emergence treatment.

• METHOD OF APPLICATION

1. Remove standing water from the rice field before spraying.
2. Mix the recommended rate (200 ml per 20 litres of water) thoroughly.
3. Apply using a fan or flood jet nozzle for even coverage.
4. Ensure the spray mist thoroughly covers the foliage of target weeds.
5. Refill the field with water 2–3 days after application.
6. Maintain a standing water depth of 3–4 cm for at least 10 days after treatment.
