- MET 480SC is a selective herbicide for pre and early post weed emergence for control of annual grasses and broad leaved weeds in carrots, peas, potatoes, maize & sugarcane.
- MODE OF ACTION: Metribuzin is a triazine herbicide that acts by inhibiting photosystem II of photosynthesis by disrupting electron transfer. This results in death due to starvation in the target plant.
- PREPARATION OF SPRAY MIXTURE: Fill the spray tank with water halfway. Add the required amount of MET 480SC and ll the remaining amount of water while stirring constantly.

- Application: For pre-emergence to weeds uses, ensure the soil is moist for best results. A little irrigation after application is recommended.
- Resistance management: Repetitive/continual use of MET 480SC can lead to pesticide resistance. It is recommended that MET 480SC is alternated with pest control products with a different MODE OF ACTION as well as adhere to good farming practices.
- RE-ENTRY PERIOD: It is safe to enter sprayed areas after 12 hours.
- PRE-HARVEST INTERVAL (PHI): No required pre harvest interval; MET 480SC is applied at pre and early post weed emergence.
