• PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

• SIGNET 240EC is a selective systemic post-emergence herbicide formulated for the effective control of annual grasses and perennial weeds in onions, potatoes, beans, cotton, and pineapples.

• It is rapidly absorbed through the foliage and translocated throughout the plant, providing effective control of susceptible weeds while allowing crops to grow with reduced competition for nutrients, water, and sunlight.

• MODE OF ACTION

• SIGNET 240EC is a systemic post-emergence herbicide that is rapidly absorbed through the foliage and readily translocated to the roots and actively growing points of susceptible weeds.

• It works by inhibiting lipid (fatty acid) synthesis, preventing normal growth and development, ultimately leading to the death of susceptible grass weeds.

• TARGET CROPS, WEEDS & APPLICATION RATES

• Equivalent Knapsack Rate: 60 ml per 20 litres of water
• METHOD OF APPLICATION

1. Fill the spray tank halfway with clean water.
2. Add the recommended quantity of SIGNET 240EC (1.5 L/ha or 60 ml per 20 litres of water).
3. Stir thoroughly.
4. Add the remaining water while maintaining continuous agitation until a uniform spray mixture is obtained.
5. Apply as a uniform foliar spray to actively growing weeds.

• APPLICATION GUIDELINES

1. Apply when annual grasses and perennial weeds are at the 2–3 leaf stage.
2. Do not apply to crops or weeds under moisture, nutrient, or other environmental stress.
3. Do not apply to weeds that have exceeded the recommended growth stage.
4. Avoid cultivation 7 days before and 7 days after application, as this may reduce herbicide effectiveness.
5. Heavy rainfall occurring within 1 hour after application may reduce performance.
6. Do not apply a post-emergence broadleaf herbicide within 1 day after applying SIGNET 240EC.

•  RE-ENTRY INTERVAL (REI)
• It is safe to re-enter treated areas 4 hours after application, once spray deposits have dried.
